We are a recruitment company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 13645847), providing staffing and employment services across charities, NGO’s, not for profits, climate-tech start ups, B-corps & purpose-les businesses.

3. Our Policies

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Our policies and practices include:

  • Recruitment policy – Ensuring all candidates are recruited fairly, with documented right-to-work checks.

  • Supplier standards – Requiring suppliers to confirm their own compliance with modern slavery laws.

  • Training – Staff involved in recruitment are trained to identify and report signs of exploitation.

  • Whistleblowing policy – Encouraging staff to report concerns confidentially.

4. Risk Assessment

As a recruitment business, we recognise risks particularly in:

  • Temporary labour and low-wage sectors

  • Third-party suppliers and overseas clients

We review risks periodically and take steps to mitigate them, including stricter onboarding checks and supplier audits.

5. Due Diligence

We carry out the following due diligence processes:

  • Verifying candidate identity and right to work in the UK

  • Monitoring working conditions of temporary staff

  • Reviewing suppliers’ and clients’ modern slavery policies

  • Including modern slavery clauses in contracts where appropriate

6. Reporting Concerns

If any employee, worker, or third party suspects modern slavery or human trafficking, they are encouraged to report it immediately by emailing info@hire-purpose.uk. All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.

7. Continuous Improvement

We are committed to strengthening our approach year-on-year. This includes:

  • Updating policies in line with best practice

  • Delivering refresher training to key staff

  • Reviewing supplier compliance regularly
